 My dad took me to my first match and that was that. I was 9 and never seen so many people in one place before. That was in the old Park End.

 1966 FA Cup Final against Sheffield Wednesday, came back from 2 down to win 3-2.

Can't remember my first game; I grew up by the ground and we used to go in at 3/4 time when we were kids, for nothing, but the 1st game that sticks in my memory we beat Cardiff 8-3 in the early 60s and all are five man forward line scored

I was born in Everton (Not Liverpool) plus my first house was Newby Street. Can you get any closer to the ground? Plus my Dad and Granddad were blues just like my son is now.

  Goddison in 1969 versus Saints. We won 4-2 and Joe Royle got a hat trick

Has to be beating Bayern Munich at home in the cup winners cup. Fiorentina at home this year was amazing and winning the cup in 84 was pretty special

  I support Everton because of a selection of a Sun Hat at Weymouth beach at the end of the 60's, i was given a choice and chose the blue Everton one. Loyal ever since

Everton v Manure (11/05/03) - Last match of the season, we lost 2-1, Rooney missed a sitter & MU were presented with the Championship trophy. Saw ESSCA details in a fanzine whilst enjoying the hospitality of a local pub before the match - The rest, as they say, is history

 

 Why Do I Support Everton:
  Alan Ball was my favourite player and he played for Everton, and once you've nailed your colours to the mast you can never change. Thank God my memory doesn't go back beyond '66 - I could be a Blackpool fan!!

Why Do I Support Everton:
  1968 FA Cup final Coming from Birmingham originally, I didn't like B'ham City or their fans and they were, even then, a perennial yo yo club. My brother supports the Villa and there was no way I was going to support them.  In short, I felt sorry for Everton after Astle's late goal but I also remember the Everton fans being the noisiest

Why Do I Support Everton:
  I used to get ‘Shoot’ Magazine when I was a kid.  Everton were always bottom of my cardboard league table.  I obviously felt sorry for them, especially as they had Gordon Lee as their Manager

3 October 1987.  Saints 0-4 Everton.  My dad and I managed to get tickets to watch this match in the Directors Box at The Dell.  I was in 7^th heaven as my absolute hero, Graeme Sharp, scored all 4 goals.

  No choice really.  My mum has been banging on about The Mighty Blues since the day I was born.

8 January 2008. Chelsea 2-1 Everton.  First Leg of League Cup semi-final.  Even though we lost right at the end, the atmosphere was fantastic (and I kept getting kissed by some mad Evertonian who was sitting next to me!)

Why Do I Support Everton:
My grandfather was an Evertonian, my father, who saw the great Dixie Dean took me to my first game aged 13.  My two sons, Michael who lives in Athens Greece,  Andrew who lives in Christchurch Dorset are avid supporters of  the Blues. Unfortunately my daughter Elaine supports that Red shower from across the park. I must have failed badly somewhere along the line.
