Everton 1 v 4 Arsenal
by Dave Crossland
Once again I found myself
bewildered by crazy refereeing decisions. I feel
that if you play a "Top 4" team, (not my words). You
start a game 1 nil down.
Everton probably played the
best football I have seen all season. 1 nil up at
half time and the atmosphere was truly electric.
Second half started and Arsenal were awarded a
really dodgy free kick in there own half which
should have been an Everton free kick. HOOF and they
are level again. I think that one or two players
where still in the dressing room it was so close to
the restart. Our defending could have been a lot
better in the second half but I'm not complaining we
have been brilliant all year.
At 2.1 down Everton where
still playing some great football and had Arsenal
really rattled but could not convert. 4.1 defeat but
I thought we did ourselves proud.
Arsenal where professional,
they never stopped complaining they wasted time at
every opportunity and they are dirty. I have no
complaints about putting the foot in if both sides
get the same decisions from the officials but it
doesn’t happen. Johnson is lucky not to be in
traction today. Arteta raised his arm and gets a
straight red and that was after the ref had a little
chat with an Arsenal player. The RS game came
instantly to mind. Three games out now.
I watched MOTD and it did
not reflect what really happened during the game, I
suppose it's difficult to do that in three minutes
though isn't it?
In the past few weeks clubs
have lost or drawn games which they should have won
all because of very poor decisions which have been
proven to be poor and it could cost those clubs
millions at the end of the season and people their
jobs.
Oh and to the bloke in
front of me there are no "Cockney !"£$%!S" playing
for Arsenal in fact there are no British players
EITHER.
COME ON YOU BLUEBOYS. Happy
new year. DC
