Fulham 0 v 2 Everton

Leon Osman's excellent double secured a 2-0 win and fifth place for Everton who also ended a 43-year-old winless streak at Craven Cottage. The midfielder scored at the end of both halves; his first was rolled in after expertly rounding Mark Schwarzer and his second was a rocket from the edge of the box.

Everton 3 v 1 West Ham

Everton have ended their 2008/09 campaign at Goodison in impressive fashion with a victory over West Ham United. The Blues came from a goal behind to record another 3-1 win over the Hammers, with Louis Saha again grabbing a brace against the east London club. Joseph Yobo's first goal of the season was sandwiched between.

Originally Tom Carr and I volunteered to drive a mini bus to Sunderland, until of course the date was changed to a Sunday kick off. That put a lot of people off so when the trip up to the Spurs game was put out I thought I would pay my dues to Eddie and volunteered to drive.
